Tharindu Weerasinghe, Sri Lanka’s first engineering graduate to
launch ‘Candlelight’, an anthology in English, had brought to light his
latest creation, a Sinhala poetry book. Titled ‘Liyavunu Sithuvili’,
Tharindu had included around a hundred verses in Sinhala in his slim
bound volume. The verses form out of the images that emerged out of his
thoughts during his stint at the University of Peradeniya where he was a
member of the Art Circle.
