Thirteen players for TT trials for Asian Youth Games

The National Table Tennis Selection Committee together with the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka has formed a 13 member pool (5 boys and 8 girls) to select the Sri Lanka Youth Table Tennis Team to participate in the first Asian Youth Games which will be held in Singapore in June.

Boys: Hashinatha Sashiranga, Supun Sirisena, Prabodhana Rodrigo, Imantha Udanjaya, Pasan Bimsara.

Girls: Nuwani Navodya, Chandima Madushani, Erandi Warusavithana, Rasheena Maduwanthi, Kasuni Pitigala, Oshadee Gunasekara, Zameela Jiffria, Kavindi Sahabandu.

Boys and Girls born between 1st January 1994 and 31st December 1995 are eligible to take Part in the Asian Youth Games. First Trial match will be worked out 17th April (today) 2 p.m. at the Race Course Table Tennis Hall, Reid Avenue, Players have to be present for physical fitness test in following day morning any player who fails to be present for the fitness test will not be considered for the second trial. Second Trial will be on 20th afternoon.
