Nehru-Gandhi clan still under LTTE's threat: Priyanka

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, poll manager for her mother Sonia Gandhi and brother Rahul, said her family was still under threat from the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam (LTTE).

"The Nehru-Gandhi family is still the target of the LTTE. The outfit got my father Rajiv Gandhi killed," Priyanka, who was campaigning for her brother, said.

"Despite this apprehension, my family and I are serving the nation for development," she asserted. "The Nehru-Gandhi clan is fighting for principles and would continue to do the same," she said addressing mini-election meets.

Priyanka has been in Amethi for the past two days campaigning for Rahul Gandhi. She addressed 18 mini-election meets and also interacted with newspersons.
