Coca-Cola Sri Lanka ties up with Pizza Hut
Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited continued its collaboration
with Pizza-Hut by entering into a partnership agreement for the second
consecutive year.

As part of the agreement Coca-Cola becomes the official beverage
partner for the entire Pizza-Hut chain in Sri Lanka. The agreement was
signed by Country Manager, Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Limited Patrick
Pech and Chief Operating Officer, Pizza-Hut Yasa Nadaraja on February
27, 2009 at Pizza Hut, Union Place.
The collaboration was successful last year and has proved to be a
winning combination for both Coca-Cola and Pizza-Hut. "At Coca-Cola we
are always on the lookout of opportunities to add fun and refreshment
into the lives of consumers.
The strategic agreement with Pizza Hut is a great opportunity to
connect and strengthen our bond with consumers.
This ideal partnership that is dually beneficial to both the
companies and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Pizza
Hut," Pech said.
Nadaraja, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the
continuation of the partnership between Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka
Limited and Pizza-Hut.
"When we initially signed the agreement in November 2007, we knew
that it would be a winning combination for the consumers as well as the
brands. The success of our agreement has prompted us to further our
partnership and continue to provide consumers with the best combination
of food and beverage in the country."
NDB Bank expands operations in Piliyandala

Following its outstanding growth in the retail banking sector in
2008, NDB Bank shifted its operation at Piliyandala to a more spacious
and convenient location, offering customers easy access and enhanced
service.
The branch is manned by a team of highly-experienced banking
professionals who will offer customers best-in-class service and the
whole range of innovative solutions presented by the bank.
In 2008, the NDB Group reported a profit after tax of Rs 1.7 bn, an
increase of four percent over the previous year, whilst the bank's
profit after tax was Rs 1.2 bn, an increase of eight percent over the
previous year.
The growth of the bank will result in improvements and value
additions this year at many of its branches to ensure convenience to
customers.
The upgrade of NDB Bank's Piliyandala branch is the first in a series
of developments the bank aims to carry out at some of its key branches
islandwide.

Seylan Bank's anniversary promotion
Seylan Bank offers the public exciting prizes as well as gifts in the
Bank's Aluth Avurudhu Thagi Varam mega promotion for the Sinhala and
Tamil New year.
