Political parties, clergy condemn attack
There was outright condemnation of the attack by
pro-LTTE elements on Sri Lanka’s Embassy in Norway by political and
religious leaders. JHU stalwart and the Party’s legal consultant
Udaya Gammanpila said it was their stand from the inception that
Norway was an enemy state of Sri Lanka.

Six killed in foiled jailbreak
Six hardcore prisoners who were serving their
sentences at the Kalutara Prison were shot dead by Prisons officers
