Constitution needs change - Chief Minister
Chief Minister Athula Wijesinghe opening the
meeting said the present constitution has not been provided enough
room to exercise their mandate. The new constitution which ensures
the democratic rights of the people, should be created. Steps should
be taken by President Mahinda Rajapaksa to change this constitution
created by late President J.R. Jayewardene.
