President Mahinda Rajapaksa and First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa visited an Army Hospital on April 12 morning. The President presenting Sinhala-Hindu New Year gifts to the soldiers at the hospital. Constitution needs change - Chief Minister

Chief Minister Athula Wijesinghe opening the meeting said the present constitution has not been provided enough room to exercise their mandate. The new constitution which ensures the democratic rights of the people, should be created. Steps should be taken by President Mahinda Rajapaksa to change this constitution created by late President J.R. Jayewardene.
