Police Media spokes-man Senior SP Ranjith D. A. Gunasekera on behalf
of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has released the above
pictures of Batuvita Lekamlage Pradeep Kumara alias Rajaratnam Pradeep
Kumara who is alleged to have assassinated Raja Ananda Edirisinghe of
Jayawardenapura, Welikada, Rajagiriya on November 17, 2008.
The Police Department offers a sum of Rs. 200,000 to any person who
provides correct information for the arrest of this suspect. The suspect
Pradeep Kumara had been an employee of assassinated Ananda Edirisinghe
for several years.
The suspect Pradeep Kumara is 5’ 11” in height. His National Identity
card No. 772961855 and Passport No. N. 1573563. According to Police the
suspect Pradeep Kumara used to visit areas like Yatiyantota, Maskeliya,
Anuradhapura, Maharagama, Nugegoda, Thalangama and Kiribathgoda.
