Cattle lorry and suspects in custody

The Tangalle police detected a lorry transporting 25 heads of cattle without a permit and arrested five suspects in the wee hours of yesterday.

Police also took the cattle and the lorry into custody during the raid conducted in Weeraketiya town.

The suspects were due to be produced in court along with the productions yesterday.
