Navy attacks LTTE boat with suicide cadres

Major tragedy averted:

The Sri Lankan Navy yesterday attacked an LTTE boat with five suicide cadres that tried to enter the Government controlled area along with civilians. Navy spokesman told the Daily News that a flotilla of four boats approaching was observed around 4.30 a.m. yesterday in the Mullaitivu Palamattalan area.

The Health Ministry said yesterday the full report into investigations into the Rubella vaccination which caused serious complications among students in Matara leading to the death of one will be presented to Health Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva today.
