Security Forces marked yet another historic
occasion in their two and half year humanitarian operation, opening
the Jaffna-Kandy A-9 road for troop movement after 24 years with 400
troops from Jaffna reaching Anuradhapura and another 400 troops from
Anuradhapura reaching Jaffna along the A-9 road.

Province DIG’s office raided a bogus kachcheri and arrested a
suspect and took a large number of forged documents into custody.

LTTE-Tamil Nadu politician links come to light
The Army 58 Division troops found several
recently taken photographs and video footage from a building earlier
occupied by the LTTE showing certain South Indian politicians in
LTTE camps in the Vanni, the Defence Ministry said.
