A brilliant knock of 106 not out by skipper Nimesha Gunasinghe helped St. Anthony's College, Kandy defeat Basilica College, Ragama by 167 runs to enter the quarter final of the schools under 13 Division I cricket tournament match played at Katugastota.

St. Anthony's 303 for 7 wickets (Nimesha Gunasinghe 106 not out, Niroshan Ratnayake 56, Rushdi Hannan 25, Kavinda Salukuttiarachchi 41, Damithra Panditharatne 17, W.M.N. Fernando 3 for 55, K.S. Pathirana 2 for 48).

Basilica 136 all out in 33.3 overs (W.M.N. Fernando 27, R. Ishara 17, N. Sanjeewa 17, R. Silva 14, Buvaneka Wijetunga 4 for 25, P. Premaratne 2 for 16, N. Gunasinghe 2 for 16.)
