(Ashton) Caspersz, beloved mother of Glendwr, Rosita, Angeline and Roger, mother-in-law of Shiran, Todd, Terry and Nilsa, much loved sister of Hilary, Noel and Vernon (all decd.), Rienzi (Canada), Maxwell, Noeline (Australia) and Jerome, sister-in-law of Decima, Tirzah, Barbara, Anne, Yvonne, Noel Bartlet and Monica, Obsequies were held at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, Ajax, followed by entombment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby, Ontario, Canada on 30th January. (A requiem Mass will be offered shortly, date and venue of which will be notified). 17/1, Old Quarry Road, Mount Lavinia.

DE PINTO - ERNEST (Ernie) Beloved husband of Hyacinth (nee Abeykoon), loving father of Ernestine, grandfather of Niroshan and Niroshani, great-grandfather of Vishmini, son of the late Dr A.D. and Millie de Pinto of Chilaw, brother of the late Claude, Irene and Joseph and of Myrtle, expired. Cortege leaves residence at 4.00 p.m. on Sunday the 8th of February for Interment at the General Cemetery (R.C. Section) Chilaw. No. 139, Kurunduwatte, Puttalam Road, Chilaw.

Son of late Mr and Mrs Collin De Silva, Kotahena, beloved wife of Rosemery, loving father of Susil, Sherine and of Sunethra, father-in-law of Rajika, Jagath and of Janaka, loving brother of Doreen, late Nihal, Lakshman, Chitra, late Chandra, Srilal, Shirani and of Jayapathy, expired. The remains will lie at Jayaratne Funeral Parlour for the burial at 4.00 p.m. on 7th Saturday today at Roman Catholic Burial Ground, Borella Kanatta.
