Sports complex opens tomorrow

Phase one of the Maharagama Sports Complex constructed by the Urban Development Authority is scheduled to be declared open tomorrow by Minister for Urban Development and Sacred Area Development Dinesh Gunawardena.

To mark this occasion the organisers have made arrangements to conduct a friendly cricket encounter between film actors and reputed cricketers and an exhibition volleyball games by disabled soldiers and also tennis and netball matches.

The complex has facilities for many sporting events, such as tennis, cricket, volleyball and netball.
