Inter public servants creative competition - 2009
The Inter Public Servants Creative Competition conducted annually by
the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, to promote the in-built
talent of the officers in the State and state-affiliated institutions in
literary creations will be held this year too.
This competition will be held in Sinhala and Tamil medium comprising
six different creations such as self motivated short stories, children
stories, rhymes, essay writing, short dramas and art.
A competitor could submit one creation in one field and altogether
six could be forwarded.
Each creation should be submitted separately, duly attested by the
Head of the Institution.
Short stories, rhymes, essay writing and short dramas should be
hand-written legibly or typed or computer typed in single side of A4
paper. All creations will be adjudged by a panel of judges comprising
professionals in the respective field.
This competition will be held separately in Sinhala and Tamil medium,
cash donations and certificates will be awarded to the first, second and
third winners.
Apart from this, five best creations in the respective field, each
will be awarded a certificate of merit and cash donation.
All creations should be forwarded to the Secretary to the Ministry of
Cultural Affairs and National Heritage, at 8th Floor, Sethsiripaya,
Battaramulla before April 30, 2009 written as "Inter Public Servants
Creative Competition-2009 on the top left hand corner of the envelope.
