Let our people go

Hundreds of cyclists and three wheelers streamed along the Kankesanthurai and Jaffna Palaly roads with Lion flags fluttering in the air. The young and old gave vent to their feelings shouting anti LTTE and anti Prabhakaran slogans.

The demonstrators demanded the release of displaced Vanni people from the uncleared areas.

They hailed the capture of Mullaithivu and Puthukudi Irrippu. The demonstration was organised by the EPDP. The demonstrators handed over a memorandum to the Jaffna GA and the UNHCR.
