Dewage and Chandimal prop up Ananda

S. Dewage (81 with 9 fours and 1 six) and Dinesh Chandimal (55 with 8 fours and 1 six) helped Ananda College to total 283 for 8 declared in their inter-school cricket match against St. Anthony's College which began at Katugastota yesterday. The match will be continued today at 9.30 a.m.

Dinesh Chandimal who has scored 1,000 runs this season looks set to score the balance 500 odd runs required to become the highest ever run getter in a school cricket season. The match looks heading towards a draw as the Anandians occupied the crease for 90.2 overs

St. Anthony's College 34 for 1 in 11 overs (Dulash Kumarasinghe 13 not out).
