'Deyata Kirula' VB National stage from February 1
The 'Deyata Kirula' National schools Volleyball Championship
conducted along with Deyata Kurula Exhibition has reached it national
level stage which commences on Feb. 1 at Rajasinghe MMV, Hanwella.
The championship will be played in three age groups under 15, 17 and
23 for Boys and Girls. The winners and two runners up teams provincial
level have qualified to play in the national level. The finals of this
stage will be conducted at BMICH Courts from Feb 5 to coincide with the
Deyata Kirula Exhibition also to be held on these days.
The championship is conducted by Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation and
Ministry of Education in Association with the Deyata Kirula Foundation.
The winners of each category will be awarded the Deyata Kirula Trophy
and a cash award of Rs. 50,000 while the two runners up are to go with
Rs. 40,000 and 30,000 respectively.
