Colts CC pile up 426

Colts CC put up a tremendous batting performance to rattle an imposing 426 runs in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Tier A tournament final round match against Baduraliya CC which began at Havelock Park yesterday.

Colts CC who are on the verge of winning the championship collected their runs from just 88.4 overs with Malintha Warnapura (95), Jeevantha Kulatunga (69) and Thisara Perera (88) making significant contributions.

Colts CC: 426 (D. Perera 22, M. Warnapura 95, I. Muthalip 41, J. Kulatunga 69, C. Vaas 41, T. Perera 88, P. Jayaprakash 4 for 73, D. Arnolda 3 for 65) v Baduraliya CC.

Ragama hit back

Ragama CC after been bundled out for 155 hit back strongly to reduce NCC to 96 for 6 in their first innings on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Tier A tournament final round match which began at Maitland Place yesterday.

Ragama CC: 155 (L. Thirimanna 27, I. de Saram 28, M. Bandara 30 n.o, D. Daminda 29, A. Ganegama 5 for 58, U. Chandana 2 for 36).

NCC: 96 for 6 (U. Chandana 26 n.o, K. Weeraratne 2 for 35, D. Daminda 3 for 27).

Bloomfield take first innings points

Bloomfield after been dismissed for 161 runs came back magnificently to snatch first innings points over Sri Lanka Army SC on the opening day of their SLC Premier League Tier A tournament final round match which began at Panagoda yesterday.

Bloomfield: 161 (C. Jayasinghe 44, T. Gunaratne 29, S. Dissanayake 21, N. Ratnayake 5 for 64, S. Prasanna 4 for 36) and 45 for no loss.

Army SC: 102 (C. Perera 22, T. Gamage 3 for 25, S. Mohamed 2 for 12, S. Dissanayake 2 for 28, T. Lakshitha 2 for 22).
