Boost for East

Eastern Provincial Health, Sports and Information Technology Minister M.L.A.M. Hisbullah said Rs. 16,000 million has been allocated to develop areas in the Eastern Province.

He at a discussion held at the Palamunai District Hospital last Sunday. He also added the province has a strong mandate to develop all under developed areas.

In Ampara not only the health sector but all the other sectors as well would be given high priority. He mentioned that initiatives have been taken to establish all Government offices for the coastal areas of Ampara district at Kalmunai.
