Moratu Vidyalaya by ten wickets

Moratu Vidyalaya beat Gurukula Maha Vidyalaya, Kelaniya by ten wickets and were home for lunch in their inter-school under 19 cricket tournament match played at Moratuwa.

With this win they have registered their seventh victory in eight matches and became the only school to record seven outright victories in the current schools cricket season.

Resuming at 56 for 4 visitors collapsed to 100 runs and Vidyalans notched up the required runs without loss. Chief architect of this victory was Asanka Silva who had a match bag of 11 for 68 runs.
