Massive road development projects in Wayamba

The Government has allocated Rs. 270 million to construct rural roads in 2009 Highways and Road Development Minister T. B. Ekanayake said in Kurunegala.

He opened the new Road Development office in Kurunegala last Tuesday.

He said under this programme, the Kurunegala Anuradhapura road is being widened to accommodate two lanes.

He said 70 per cent of rural roads in Wayamba have already been completed up to now.
