Indika steers Ragama to a three wicket win

Prolific run getter Indika de Saram hammered an unbeaten century to
guide Ragama CC to a sensational three wicket outright victory over the
table leaders Bloomfield in their high profile SLC Premier League Tier A
tournament match concluded at Reid Avenue yesterday.
De Saram who scored twin hundreds in last week›s game produced
another splendid performance to remain unbeaten on 103 from 118
deliveries with the help of one six and eleven boundaries.
De Saram also put on 70 runs for the seventh wicket together with all
rounder Kaushalya Weeraratne who made a useful 42 inclusive of one six
and five boundaries. De Saram and Malinga Bandara then added the
finishing touches with an unfinished eighth wicket stand of 53 runs.
This was incidentally Indika de Saram›s third hundred in four innings
and he is currently the highest run getter in the Premier League
tournament with over 500 runs to his credit.

Former Sri Lanka under 19 skipper Ashan Priyanjan scored twin fifties
to help Tamil Union beat Colts CC outright by seven wickets in their SLC
Premier League Tier A tournament match concluded at Havelock Park
yesterday.

SSC IN INNINGS WIN
Shalika Karunanayake and Sachithra Senanayake captured four wickets
each to help the defending champions SSC beat Sri Lanka Army Sports Club
outright by an innings and 32 runs in their SLC Premier League Tier A
tournament match concluded at Maitland Place yesterday.

CHILAW MARIANS FORCE A DRAW
Middle order batsman Janaka Gunaratne hammered an unbeaten century
and put on 110 for the unfinished sixth wicket together with Malith
Gunatilleke to help Chilaw Marians SC force a draw to their SLC Premier
League Tier A tournament match against CCC concluded at Maitland
Crescent yesterday.
This was after Bathiya Perera had plundered a sparkling unbeaten
century from just 82 deliveries that helped CCC declare their second
innings at an impressive 200 for 3 having earlier taken first innings
points quite convincingly.

victory and had to settle with first innings points over Baduraliya CC
in their SLC Premier League Tier A tournament match concluded at
Braybrooke Place yesterday.
