Navy destroys Tiger boat

The Sri Lanka Navy destroyed a LTTE logistic boat, 12 nautical miles north east of Point Pedro in the wee hours of yesterday, Navy sources said.

Four Sea Tigers were also reported to have been killed, as the Navy engaged the fleeing Tiger vessel, in the northern seas, around 2.00 am yesterday.

The boat which was completely destroyed due to Navy fire is believed to have carried logistics for the LTTE, including weapons.
