New UDA Chairman

Experienced public servant Sanath Weerakoon has been appointed to the post of Chairman of the Urban Development Authority (UDA).

He has served as the Government Agent for Colombo for 10 years and is considered a veteran in the Sri Lanka Administrative Service. He has also served as the Government Agent for Puttalam and as a Ministry Secretary.
