Confusion leads to arrest

A person who used two vehicles with one registration number has been apprehended by police.

A report from Bandarawela said police apprehended a businessman in town who used two lorries with identical registration numbers.

The businessman had registered one of the lorries with the Department for Registration of motor vehicles and the same number had been used for the other lorry too.

Police will produce him before court, the report said.
