PRDA anniversary

The North Central Provincial Ministry of Road Development has made arrangements to commemorate the eighth anniversary of the Provincial Road Development Authority (PRDA).

An all-night Pirith chanting ceremony will be held on Monday and an alms giving to Maha Sangha on the following day will also take place. North Central Governor Karunaratne Divulgane, NCP Chief Minister Berty Premalal Dissanayake, Provincial Council Ministers' members of the PC and employees of the PRDA will participate.

The Asian Development Bank granted 4,000 million to the Provincial Road Development Ministry for rural road development in 2009.
