Sea Tiger leaders killed in air raids

Air Force fighter jets Kfir, F-7, MI-27 and MI-24 gunships launched series of air raids and destroyed an LTTE Sea Tiger boat, killed two women Sea Tiger leaders, destroyed a warehouse and a truck last morning.

Air Force Wing Commander Janaka Nanayakkara said the Air Force MI-24 gunship carried out air sorties targeting the LTTE strong positions and bunker lines, in support of advancing troops of divisions 56, 57 and 59, west of Paranthan, East of Iranamadu junction and East of Mulayaweli in the Mullaitivu district.
