State advertising through Selacine Television Institute

Cabinet approved a memorandum submitted by Mass Media and Information Minister Anura Priyadharshana Yapa, to make it mandatory for all advertisements and publicity programmes of all ministries, Government Departments, Government and Semi-Government Institutions, produced by private sector advertising agencies and production houses to be scheduled through the Selacine Television Institute.
