Universities Act to be amended

Cabinet approved a memorandum submitted by Higher Education, Minister Prof. W.A. Wiswa Warnapala to draft an amendment to the Universities Act No. 16 of 1978 (last amended by Act No. 01 of 1995) based on proposals submitted by him in a Cabinet Memorandum dated April 27, 2007.
