Ceylinco VIP New Benefits Worth Rs.1.5 Million

Ceylinco VIP On The Spot, the market leader in Motor Insurance in Sri Lanka, has once again added to their ever-innovative schedule of benefits another unique benefit worth up to Rs.1.5 million. Allocated to each and every customer, in the event of death or total permanent disability, this will immensely benefit the Sri Lankan public.

In the event of death or total permanent disablement due to an accident, Ceylinco VIP On The Spot will pay up to Rs.1 million or 12 monthly instalments (whichever is lower) towards the vehicle lease and Rs.500,000/- to the family. In the event of death or total permanent disability due to natural causes, up to Rs.500, 000/- or 12 monthly instalments (whichever is lower), will be paid towards the vehicle lease, while Rs.500,000/- will be paid towards the family. The new benefits will be incorporated into all existing and new motor insurance policies, effective immediately. More importantly, even with all these additional benefits, there will be no change whatsoever to the premium charged.

Ceylinco VIP On The Spot, which always puts the customer, at the very forefront of their business concept, introduced the new benefits, taking into consideration the great hardships, distress and humiliation vehicle owners and their families go through, in the event of death or permanent disability due to, either accidents or natural causes. Such innovation comes naturally to Ceylinco VIP, which fostered the concept of on the spot claim settlement, as far back as 2003, an idea many in the industry, both in Sri Lanka and abroad, are still ineffectively trying to emulate. However, the latest benefits are aimed at minimising the pain of vehicle owners and their families during times of great adversity.

Voicing his thoughts on the eve of the launch of the new benefits, the Chief Executive Director Of Ceylinco Insurance - General, Ajith Gunawardena, said that it was his company's credo to provide the best possible insurance protection and benefits to his loyal customers. He added that Ceylinco VIP had always innovated and will continue to innovate solutions best suited to market needs and conditions. He went on to say that although many other players in the market claimed to give the most comprehensive insurance solutions to their customers, it was truly, only Ceylinco that honoured that promise; time after time, adding further that this was the reason behind their loyal clientele and market position. He also said that many had tried to emulate their innovative strategies, without investing in the infrastructure and logistics required, and thus, fell far short.
