Priyantha wins a double

A Former National Table Tennis Champion Lalith Priyantha won a double at the Open Veterans Table Tennis Tournament held at Reid Avenue recently.

Priyantha emerged over 40 mens champion and then partner Ira Ruwanpathirana to pocket the mixed doubles title. He emerged runner up in the men's double event.

R. A. Wimalasena won the over 50 men's title. Over 60 men's champion was M. M. M. Labbeer and Ira Ruwanpathirana emerged the over 50 women's Championship.

Over 50 mens Champion - R. A. Wimalasena

Runner up - N. H. Piyadasa,

Over 60 mens Champion - M. M. M. Labbeer

Runner up - Dr. G. N. Lucas.

Mens double champion - D. M. A. Bandula and Frickty foues.

Runner up - Lalith Priyantha and M. Ismail

Over 50 women champion - Ira Ruwanpathirana

Runner up- Amara Chandrathilaka

Womens double champion - Nilmini Swarnakanthi and Amara Chandrathilake

Runner up - Ama Suraweera and Daya Peiris

Mixed doubles champion - Lilith Priyantha and Ira Ruwanpathirana
