Four Tigers killed in Ambagaswewa

Horowpathana: Four LTTE cadres were killed during a confrontation with army at Ambagaswewa, 10 kilometres away from Horowpathana yesterday evening.

According to Military Spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara, troops have recovered four LTTE bodies and a cache of weapons that included four T56 guns, three Claymores and over 20 anti personnel mines.

He said a joint search operation was launched in the area soon after this incident.
