Funds for electrified fence allocated - Minister

Highways Minister T. B. Ekanayake said solutions for this type of problems cannot be found over night.

"Funds for the electrified fence have already been allocated. My Ministry will provide the machinery. A plan has been prepared for the project by the Wildlife Department. The Plan Sri Lanka Organisation has also offered to help us in this connection. We hope to complete the work soon," he said.
