Lankan loses memory:
US hospital seeks public help

Sri Lankan Anton Karunaratne has lost his memory and the University
hospital in San Antonio, Texas issued a bulletin requesting Sri Lankans
who are aware of his identity to contact them.
According to the hospital bulletin Anton Karunaratne, 55, was
admitted to the University Hospital on November 15, 2008.
Karunaratne is now to be discharged from the Hospital. But, he is
unable to remember his address and the names of his relatives and
friends. Since he has no safe place to go, the authorities of the
University Hospital seek the assistance of the community to find out the
contact details of Karunaratne's relatives.
The hospital requested the public to contact the University if they
recognise him or know his family.
