Unprecedented crowd at Tiger atrocities exhibition in Italy

ITALY: Over 10,000 people including a large number of Italian citizens viewed the photographic exhibition depicting LTTE atrocities upto the conclusion of its second day at the Spatcio Tasini Art Gallery in Milano on Sunday, said the Presidential Media Unit.

Although the announced daily exhibition times were 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. organisers had to extend it till 10 p.m. daily to facilitate the unexpected crowd who visited the exhibition.

The exhibition in Milano opened on November 22 under the patronage of the Chairman of the Milano Province Vinchenso Orthalena and the participation of several Italian political activists and intellectuals. A group of Italian police officers from the zesta St. Juan Police station who viewed the exhibition on Sunday expressed disgust over the LTTE barbarism evidenced in the photographs.
