Sampath Bank rewarded


DGM, Systems Development/Electronic Banking and Card Centre Sampath Bank Ranjith Narangoda accepting the award for Runner-Up - Banking and Financial Sector from Chairman of the Panel of Judges for National Business Excellence Awards 2008 Dr. Uditha Liyanage.

Sampath Bank has been rewarded for delivering on their promise of “presenting your future” with finesse and distinction at the National Business Excellence Awards 2008 organised by the National Chamber of Commerce - Sri Lanka.

The awards recognise the business enterprises which have demonstrated excellence in business whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country.

The awards are given under criteria such as Realised Growth, Future Growth, Sustainable Growth, Best Practices and Entrepreneurship.

Sampath Bank won the awards for Winner - Excellence in Best Performance Management Practices category and the Runner-Up - Banking and Financial Service Sector.

HNB Chunnakam relocates

Hatton National Bank recently relocated the Chunnakam Customer Centre at KKS Road, Chunnakam.

The newly relocated customer centre will be housed in a more spacious building and is now geared to offer the people of Chunnakam the full range of services of a retail commercial bank.

This customer centre was opened by Assistant General Manager, Personal Financial Services and Business Development of HNB P. Sridharan. A large gathering was present on this occasion including, Senior Regional Manager - Northern Region of HNB A. V. Beadle.
