Sri Lanka 298 for 2

Sri Lanka were well placed at 298 for 2 at tea on the second day of their four day cricket encounter against Zimbabwe continued at the Queens Sports Club grounds in Bulawayo yesterday.

Acting skipper Kumar Sangakkara was two runs short of his century and Chamara Kapugedera was also two runs away from reaching his fifty.

This was after the openers Upul Tharanga na Mahela Udawatte had also completed fifties in reply to Zimbabwe›s first innings total of 159 all out.
