Minister of Sports and Public Recreation, Gamini Lokuge has appointed
a new five-member Interim Committee for the Sri Lanka Amateur Aquatic
Sports Union.
Minister of Agricultural Development and Agrarian Services
Development, Maithripala Sirisena has been appointed as the new
President of the interim administration.
A member of the National Sports Council, Kiran Atapattu, who is also
an adviser to the Sports Minister has been named as the new Secretary.
Minister Sirisena is a former President of the Sri Lanka Gymnastic
Association while Atapattu is also an experienced member who served in
several committees appointed by the Minster of Sports. Other members of
the new committee are Nethroo Nanayakkara, Rifthi Fhaam and E.G. Wilson. |
