Three schoolboys abducted in Panadura

Three schoolboys aged between 13 and 13 were abducted on Wednesday around 4.15 pm at Beach Road, Panadura.

The students M.N.M. Faslan, M.F.M. Rimsan and S.I.M. Mufees are residents of Sarikkamulla and attend Jeelan Central College of the same village.

They were on their way home from Colombo after attending a seminar when they received a phone call to come back to Panadura beach from an unidentified person, Police said.

"As soon as they reached this particular spot, they had been bundled into a white van which sped off the scene," sources said.

Further investigations are on.
