Fibreglass boat for Napawala Temple

Napawala Temple which always suffer from flood was lucky to get a new
fibreglass boat recently.
Ven. Galle Subadra Thera is seen at the simple function held
in connection with the donation of a new fibreglass boat and
a wheelchair. Chairman, U.S.S. Services Pvt. Ltd. Udaya
Kulathilake, Director Sarath Silva and General Manager
Ruwanal Fernando were also present. |
The boat was donated by U.S.S. Service Pvt. Ltd. Pepiliyana a leading
importer and distributer of fibreglass raw materials in Sri Lanka.
A simple function was held at the company premises Pepiliyana to
handover the boat under the participation of Chairman U.S.S. Services
Pvt. Ltd. Udaya Kulathilake, Director Sarath Silva and General Manager
Ruwanal Fernando.
A donation of wheel chair to Ven. Galle Sanga Subadra Thera was also
held at this function. Ven. Subadra Thera said that the donation of a
new fibreglass boat and a wheel chair is a great merit done by the U.S.S.
Services Pvt. Ltd.
“The temple of Napawala always suffered from flood. But now the
Bikkhus of the temple have got a permanent solution by getting a new
fibreglass boat. We must thank Chairman Udaya Kulathilake, Director
Sarath Silva and the staff of the company.
They have done a great service by providing a new fibreglass boat and
a wheelchair to a temple. It was very happy to see and hear that the
U.S.S. Services Pvt. Ltd. is doing service projects in addition to their
business activities. This will be an example to other business
institutions,” Ven. Subadra Thera said. |
