Problems should be viewed from different angles- Housing Minister
Shirley Wijesinghe
A problem should be viewed from different facets and angles in order
to understand the real gravity of it, said Minister of Housing and
Common Amenities Ferial Ashraff speaking at the annual awards ceremony
for the winners of the All Island Art Exhibition and Competition
conducted by the e Royal College Art Circle yesterday.
Minister Ashraff said that a picture drawn by a group of students who
sit around a table is completely different to the real item . Some items
would have been missing from their picture and certain features omitted
unwittingly.
Likewise a problem cannot be discerned immediately nearly by
examining the surface.
It has to be gone into deeply to obtain true picture of the matter..
The Minister said things can be gauged correctly only after all
angles have been gone into deeply..
She commended the efforts of the Royal College Art Circle in
providing an opportunity for students from all over the island to
participate in the exhibition and competition.
Over 8000 students took part in the competition.
