135 acres for cashew in Matale

Sri Lanka Cashew Corporation has taken steps to cultivate 135 acres for cashew in the Matale District in Galewela-Laggala, Wilgamuwa, Dambulla-Naula and Pallepola area.

The Corporation said cashew is successfully grown in the above areas but further extension is to be boosted as cashew has found to be a lucrative industry, says the Cashew Corporation, Matale.
