French nationals at photographic exhibition shocked by LTTE
atrocities
A large number of French nationals witnessed the brutal atrocities of
the LTTE and expressed shock and dismay as the photographic exhibition
highlighting the LTTE murders and crimes was held at the Ambassadors
Auditorium of the UNESCO headquarters in Paris recently.
The anti-terror photographic exhibition organised for the first time
to depict the atrocities of the LTTE was first held in London and later
in The Hague in the Netherlands.
French nationals who came to view the exhibition expressed that
though hey were well aware of Hitler's crimes during World War II, the
atrocities committed by the LTTE were no second to that of the Nazi's.
The photographs on the Kebithigollewa massacre was a shocking
experience for many of the viewers and many left the exhibition hall in
tears.
The exhibition was organised by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party President
Damien, Treasurer Ananda Dodangoda, Anti Terror Solidarity and acting
Sri Lanka Ambassador to France Himali Arunatilleke and Advisor
Sugeeshwara Sanadheera. |
