Kidnap suspect nabbed

Kandy Police arrested a suspect involved in the kidnapping of a five year old son of a leading businessman from Akurana yesterday.

This gang had abducted the child while he was sleeping at his home, police said.

They had demanded a ransom of Rs. 3.5 million for his release.

Kandy Police which began investigations arrested the suspect in less than 12 hours.
