Stage dramas to create public awareness on human trafficking

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) are supporting Janasetha Sahana Foundation, who perform a series of street dramas that highlight the risks involved in human trafficking where men, women, and children are tricked into forced labour and sexual exploitation.

This week the drama group will be touring in Anuradhapura. This public awareness campaign is funded by USAID which provided $200,000 in support. The drama will be staged today in Anuradhapura District at Kekirawa, Tirappane, Jaffna Junction and Anuradhapura Town.
