The Sri Lanka Embassy in Korea is planning to provide employment to
7,000 youth in Korea next year, Chief Harbour Welfare Officer Thushara
Perera said.
The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLFEB) together with the Sri
Lanka Embassy in Korea are making arrangements to make this move a
reality. "Although Korean authorities have given an annual employment
quota of 9,500, so far only around 2,000 Sri Lankans have taken up jobs
in Korea." |
