Sampath Bank boosts rugby in Sabaragamuwa

Sampath Bank has come forward for the 11th consecutive year with their sponsorship to the Sabaragamuwa Rugby Union, which in turn helps develop the game in the Sabaragamuwa province.

The Sabaragamuwa Rugby Union in alliance with Sampath Bank organizes activities within the region amongst schools and sports clubs to develop the game of Rugby. They also play a great role in identifying and sponsoring novice players who show a good promise of becoming professional players in time to come.

Sampath Bank believes their allegiance to the game of Rugby will strengthen the confidence of the Sri Lankan Rugby players on their path to bringing glory to their motherland.
