Arrested with explosives

A teacher at Bandarawela was arrested with 65 grams of C4 explosives and a detonator, Bandarawela police said. This person is a resident of Jaffna and working as a teacher of Tamil medium class. The explosive items were hidden in his quarters.

According to HQI, Bandarawela police, CI Chamil K. Ratnayake, the person arrested is in police custody and investigations are being continued.
