Infrastructure projects, training centre for Nagoda soon

Vocational Training Minister Piyasena Gamage will inaugurate the construction of the Gammedegoda bridge over the Ginganga at Nagoda on October 19. The British Government has provided Rs. 80 million for the project.

The Niyagama power project funded by the Chinese Government on the request of Minister Gamage will be commissioned on October 14. Over 150 families will benefit by the project to which Rs. 13.4 million has been channelled.

The Yayawatta Vocational Training Centre in Thalalla will also be opened by the Minister on October 27, Ministry sources said.
