Plantation Crop Research Symposium

The Second Symposium on Plantation Crop Research will be held on October 16 and 17 at the BMICH.

The Coconut Research Institute, Tea Research Institute, Rubber Research Institute and the Sugarcane Research Institute jointly organise the event.

"Export Competitiveness through Quality Improvement" is the theme of this symposium which seeks to provide a platform for scientists of different disciplines to interact with policymakers, planters, industrialists, academics and other stakeholders of the plantation industry to exchange views. Plantation Industries Minister D.M. Jayaratne will be the Chief Guest and Dr. S. Arulraj from India will be the Guest of Honour.
